Olive Cheng (née Monte)  is an experienced, award winning, exhibited artist and educator based in Perth, Western Australia.

Olive trained and worked professionally as a primary school teacher and landscape architect for over a decade before pursuing life as a full-time artist, community arts facilitator and professional mural painter.

Olive works in the medium of pyrography (wood burning) and mural painting while also running creative workshops for schools, community groups and charities in between her public art and commission work.  She has a wealth of experience in designing original artworks or features for hospitals, local businesses, community groups, medical centers and she has worked extensively with local councils and Town Team groups across WA for larger scale public art installations.
